Wednesday, Oct 1st, Minutes

Last Wednesday, when we had Tuesday off we took that opportunity to have a team meeting in 3215. There we talked about ideas and tried to incorporate what we've learned from the course into them.

We started out with a list of who our SFU Peoples are:
- ACS - Labtechs, Network Admins, Media Tech, Managers
- Facilities - Go-To People, Maintainence, Managers
- Library - Librarians, Technicians, Reference Desk People
- Students - SIAT (NME/Technology/ID), Computer Science Students, Business Students, All Nighters
- Staff - Instructors, Reasearch-Assistance, T.As

Before long, we decided to stop working on this list and instead took a bit of a different approach and find a common need that these people share since our Target Market was already somewhat established. We decided that since we only have a window to sell our product (Tuesday, November 25th) that we'd find out exactly who is on that campus on that particular day. Matt, who is working at ACS/CARS this semester has the room booking schedule in a easy to read format, so he will gather and process that information.

Someone had suggested that we come up with sustainable sticky notes since it in itself is a fairly neutral product that should appeal to our Target Market. The sticky notes would all have little facts and tidbits about sustainability. The idea later evolved into a tiny basket full of stationary all with sustainable products inside of them. All the products would be made of sustainable materials.

The next step we need to take is to research sustainable products that are already on the market. Tony has also made a Questionaire that we will use to survey the population of SFU Surrey. Initial version found here: Questionaire
