Ideas Ideas...

Last week Karen, Judy and Matt(me) had a mini-lunch meeting after tuesdays class. We brainstormed some ideas while we ate down in the food court. This activity was just to get our minds flowing for the time being. We kept in mind customer needs (SFU Surrey people) but havn't really done any in depth research yet. Here's a list of what we came up with, some may or may not have been thought of with sustainability in mind:

Custom paper clips made from cans: We would be able to reuse the cans and wouldn't cost anything to make the paper clips besides manhours.

Hand Sanitizer: Students can sanitize their hands after they use the computer labs.

Cactus: We would sell cacti! They are super low maintainence in that they require very little water, and apparently help clean the air.

SWAG promoting sustainability: Selling buttons, keychains, lanyards etc to promote sustainability! If you wear one of these it would show that you take part in sustainable activities.

Toques/Socks: We thought of the November date that we are destined to sell our product and we were thinking that since it's in the middle of winter why not sell something that would be useful! Maybe they are made of hemp or some other sustainable ingredient.
